Child social awareness skills
We understand the requirement to develop Social and Emotional Learning, SEL, something which is learnt from the experiences we undertake from the moment we are born and which allow us the ability to understand and empathize with others, especially with people from backgrounds different from one’s own.
Young people acquire SEL and apply their knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities. They manage their emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.
This social awareness allows them the ability to understand and empathize with others.
As childcare professionals, we are aware that to develop these relationship skills properly, we need to obtain social awareness with the ability to understand and empathize with others.
Pre-school education
Our brains develop most quickly in the early years of our lives.
Development during the first 3 – 5 years of a child´s life is fast and these are some of the most important years in education.
During this time we are capable of absorbing information and creating the foundation for language acquisition, socialization, and attitudes to learning.
Our services offer basic pre-shool learning which helps to provide personal, social, communication and emotional development.
Homework guidance education
We encourage good study habits and help the children we care for to be organised for education.
We help the children to understand the need to do research and to be prepared to avoid the need to work up to the last-minute.
We talk with the children to find out their understanding of what they are doing and how they plan to complete their work.
We give praise and offer feedback regularly to maintain motivation and to make sure that the child understands what is required.
